18U Baseball

The 18u Mariners baseball team coached by Jose Kortright and Rob Maccone will be participating in two leagues this Summer. The Mariners will be playing in the BBH Perfect Game Wood Bat Summer League and the New York Amateur Baseball League.

The BBH Perfect Game Summer League consists of teams such as Hanks Yanks and the NYABL is made up of teams such as Youth Service, Midville Dodgers, NY Grays, Team NY Select and Showcase. 

The Mariners are participating in the Fathers' Day Northeast invitation on June 17-19 at Baseball Heaven.  The event is another Perfect Game tournament.  Last Summer the Mariners were the 8th seeded team out of 32 teams that participated in this tournament.  They were eliminated by the Titans 5-3 in the first round of elimination play.  The Mariners will also be participating in the Silver City Grand Slam tournament July 1-3 in Meriden, Connecticut.

The Mariners will round out their Summer schedule by playing independent games with the NY Crush, LI Athletics and teams from Staten Island.  Overall the Mariners 18u team will play approximately more than fifty games this summer, weather permitting.
