Zack Keckley
Zack Keckley joined the organization in 2007 as a pitcher/DH for the Long Island Mariners College Team and went on to take the position as Head Coach of the 15U team in 2008. Zack attended Comsewogue High School in Port Jefferson Sta., NY through 2001-2004. He was a four year starter on the Varsity level and earned himself All-League, All-County, and All-State honors in 2004. He led the Warriors to the County finals in 2004 after an 11 year absence for the program. Zack also started on the Varsity Football Team at Comsewogue as quarterback under legendary Suffolk County football head coach Tom Cassese. He led the Warriors to the County Finals in 2003 and Semi-Finals in 2004. Also he won Cassese’s record breaking game to take the top spot in County history for career wins. Zack then attended Bryant University, RI for the 2005 season and came home for the following 3 years to play for Randy Caden’s St. Joseph’s College Golden Eagles. Under Coach Caden he owns the career record for triples and in 2008 was top in triples, wins, innings pitched, strikeouts, and complete games. Zack joined the New York Army National Guard in 2009 and has been instructing baseball since joining St. Joseph’s in 2006.
